The Mid-Central Conference ( MCC) announced its post-season awards for the 2010-11 women's soccer season and Ryan Burgher was named as the Coach of the Year.

In just three seasons, Burgher led the lady foresters to the best finish in the programs history. The 2010 foresters were the first women’s soccer team to have a winning record and the first women’s team to win a first round game in the MCC tournament. They were also the 2nd HU women’s team to host a MCC tournament game, the last being over 10 years ago. “It is an honor and a blessing to receive this award.” Said head coach Ryan Burgher. “I would have been happy to even receive a vote with the caliber of coaches that we have in the MCC.”
