| Warsaw Travel Soccer Club is a travel soccer
club. Our goal is to develop quality soccer players through
instruction in the fundamental skills of the game, strategy, competition
and sportsmanship. Our Club primarily uses coaches who have college
level playing experience. This club is plays in the Northern Indiana Soccer League (NISL) and the Indiana Soccer League (ISL). These leagues are highly competitive leagues, which has some of the premier teams in the area participating. Our program is not a recreational program but is a competitive environment where commitment, practice, effort and sportsmanship are emphasized. Soccer is a game of skill, touch and endurance. Accordingly, the child cannot obtain an adequate level of these abilities at just two practices a week. Therefore, we teach the children the necessary skills and requirements while encouraging them to practice individually and (depending on the child's age) with parental involvement on nights when the team does not practice. During the season, teams generally practice two nights a week with games on the weekends. Usually, there is a League Tournament and one or two Tournaments that we travel to out of town. |
