Warsaw Wave  1
Brownsburg   0

Warsaw struggled to finish goals in this tough first round match-up.  The Wave controlled most of the game and scored early, when Jordan Sharp made a long run down the field and chipped the ball over the onrushing keeper's head. A solid defensive effort held Brownsburg to only one shot attempt on goal.  Warsaw on the other hand pounded on the Brownsburg goal shooting twenty times.

Goals:
Jordan Sharp unassisted in the 6th minute

Warsaw Wave  4
Terre Haute  0

This was one of the most solid performances of the year as the Warsaw Wave dominated a good Terre Haute team.  Jordan Sharp scored his first hat trick of the season and Alex Hall added another goal in the win.  Warsaw out shot the Flyers 26 to 2, in recording the win.  Adam Kitchens played a wonderful game defensively marking Terre Haute's best player and shutting him down.  Sharp scored first early in the first half as he raced down the field beating three defenders and the keeper with a shot to the far post that dribbled across the goal line.  His second goal was created by a beautiful pass from Kyle Boyd that sent Sharp racing down the field for his second break away goal of the game.  The third goal was set up by a perfectly timed free kick from Boyd who put the ball right to Sharp's foot.  Sharp took the ball out the air and volleyed in his third goal of the game.  Hall rounded out the scoring with a blistering shot to the far post that glanced off of the post and into the back of the net.

Warsaw Wave          2
South Bend Jr. Irish 1

After going a goal down to an early strike by the Jr. Irish, Warsaw woke up in time to win and advance to the championship game of the Boo festival tournament.  Jordan Sharp continued his excellent tournament play with two goals in the second half to secure the win.  A scramble in front of the net allowed an Irish player to chip the ball over the keeper Justin Evans for the game's first goal.  Down a goal and backs against the wall, Warsaw put three forwards up front and pushed to get an equalizing goal.  Their efforts were rewarded when Sharp took a shot from twenty yards out and put it into the top right hand corner.  Later in the second half Adam Kitchens played a great through ball to Sharp, who ran onto the pass and put the ball past the keeper for the winning goal.  For the game Warsaw out shot South Bend 20 to 5.

Goals:
#5 Jr. Irish unassisted in the 3rd minute

Warsaw Wave          4
Greencastle Panthers 0

The Championship game of a tournament is the perfect time to play your best game of the season.  Warsaw was fortunate enough to have that happen to them in the Boo Tournament.  Alex Hall scored the first goal of the game as he made a run down the left hand side of the field, beat two defenders, and put the ball into the top corner of the goal.  Jordan Sharp set up the next two goals and Katie Taylor put the finishing touch on both crosses.  Taylor made runs to the far post positioning herself perfectly to tap into the net two excellent crosses.  Sharp did the honors himself on the last goal as Stephen Wright played a through ball for him to run onto and slot into the back of
the net for his seventh goal of the tournament.  Warsaw out shot the Panthers 13 to 5 for the game.  This game concludes a very successful season for the U14 Warsaw Wave team.  Warsaw's record ends at 7-1-4 on the season.

Thanks for the memories and an awesome season!!!
